Food was great. Nice atmosphere. Good beer selection. Patrons were well spaced apart. Staff all wearing masks.

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect, but was extremely happy. The waitress was incredible helpful and polite. The food had exquisite taste and the portions are unreal. You really get alot for the money you pay and you don't have to pay alot. If I lived near here I would eat it constantly. I will definitely check it out again when I'm in the neighborhood. A must try!

I was not impressed with the wings and waffles. Small portion size and low quality. My wife had the buffalo meatloaf, which was baked in a ball and was pretty dry and bland.

My wife and I took our two young children at 4:45pm on a Monday night. We ordered dinner after looking at the menu for 5 minutes. Our food was finally served at 6:25pm. We had two employees who were off that day sitting right behind us. They had everyone on staff greet them and chit chat all night, their food and drinks were prompt while we sat there and waited. Food was cold and mediocre. Drink order was not correct. Manager finally came over and gave us a discount on food, should have been completely comped. Don’t ever eat here, simply awful! They obviously have zero leadership and don’t care. What’s really sad is when we meet people in the state park this week and dinner conversations were brought up most said, “oh my that place is bad we had a similar situation. It only gets a one star because the review won’t let me give it a zero.

Based off reviews wanted to give this a try while we were here on vacation. My husband liked the bison burger but I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was not good at all. Tasted like lighter fluid to me. I enjoyed the cheese curds and the fries. Service was very slow, but our waitress was very nice.

Sat outside under an umbrella which felt great. I had the fried pollock sandwich and fries with a sweet tea and lemon..left full and satisfied..

My husband called and asked about the wait time and asked about putting our name on the waitlist. The individual on the phone said that they do not allow people to call ahead, so my husband asked if he really had to drag our 3 month old son in side and back out to wait for a table. He was told yes then hung up on. We still went there for dinner because this was a first. When we were seated the staff was great! Our waitress, Amanda made up for the poor treatment on the phone. She talked with us and joked. She never let our cups go empty, came to our table to check on us and when my husbands food was not cooked right, she made it right. She was amazing! I highly recommend asking to be seated in her section if you want a good experience. It started out rough but ended up being a wonderful experience!

Really good food. The service was great. The waiter checked on us and also asked several times how we were doing and how the food is. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, which is typical during rush hour. The wait was well worth it.

Had burger, fries and some grilled shrimp was pretty good, service not to bad for lunch time

When visiting the Hocking Hills, please take the time to check this place out.We came from Rock House and were pretty hungry. Had been told 35 minute wait time, but was actually 20 minutes.We were seated and pretty much immediately approached by our server, Carissa.Our app, the sampler, was out immediately. Hot and delicious.Between all of us, we ordered the Monte Cristo, Buffalo Burger, Prairie Fire Chicken, and Grilled BLT. With the exception of not enough bacon on the salad, everything was well presented and good. Prices are extremely reasonable as well.14/10 would return.P.S. Give Carissa a raise! She's amazing.

Friendly waitress and staff. Nice atmosphere. Food was good and prices were comparable to other local restaurants. Our visit was during the week around 6 in the evening and it wasn't busy at all although our wait for our food was longer than expected. They have a nice shop attached with unique items to purchase from local vendors.

One of the best burgers you can get at a restaurant. Pizza wasn't bad either. All in all. Only reason it isn't a 5 star is the atmosphere is a 3. It's just open with high tops. And it is a personal preference. But the food is well worth it.

I had a steak and my wife had a burger. I wouldn’t say it’s the best steak I’ve had, but my wife said her burger was delicious. She also had a few cocktails and said they were the best cocktails she’s ever had at a restaurant. Service was decent and the atmosphere was clean and friendly.

Chili was GREAT. Wings were underwhelming - hot sauce was not hot and not very much was used when they tossed the wings. Fries were good, service was good. Indian fry bread was interesting, can't say I've had anything like that before. Chili was great. Worth mentioning twice.

Normally the staff takes a good bit of time to acknowledge you. Today though they did a good job. Less then 3 minutes staning there and we were being seated.. Our waiter was really good and the most Punctual out of any time I have been to this restaurant. But the food. Thats the problem. The food is amazing when cooked properly yes. But the last two times I have gone my steaks have come out completely wrong. But today was the breaking point. I sent it back. And it came out again burnt to a crisp on the outside but still medium on the inside. I asked for well done. Absolutely unacceptable. I told them I didn't want to eat anything at that point no manager came over but she overheard and knew as I delt with her the last time but my steak came out proeprly when it came back last time too. But she never came over to help this time. My waitress was really good though. I will be back as when the food is cooked correctly it is amazing but this time made me have to make a review

We rode an hour and a half just to check this place out. There was a wait for outside seating, which is fine. But when they texted us saying a table was ready the hostess said "we're just going to go ahead and seat you here, our outside servers are extremely busy." So we left and went across the parking lot to The Millstone. We were seated immediately and watched the hostess literally seat a party of 3 outside! We will not recommend or return. One star only because they won't let you rate any lower.

Originally gave it 4 stars, but have been a couple more times and decided we really do love it. Someone inevitably always gets the tenders in our party. They are huge. Various other entrees have always been well prepared and delicious. The sides are large portions also. Two people could probably split a side, depending on appetites. We have all decided that the sweet potato fries, which are waffle cut, are some of the best we've ever had. The drinks are good, although on two different occasions our first choices of cocktails or beers were unavailable. You can walk across the yard, as shown in the picture, and get to the brewery (33) next door. That can be beneficial if you have a long wait for seating. They use a text system to call you for your table.

The place was awesome! The wings were superb (don't be afraid to go on the hotter side) and the axe throwing was totally worth it!!

We arrived at the Hungry Buffalo and provided a booth. After a few minutes the rest of our party arrived and sat down. After a few minutes, who I assumed was the "manager" arrived very abruptly and accused us of sitting down without being allowed and that we needed to be put on a wait list. We explained that we were seating and pointed out the waitress. Due to her very rude "Karen" manner we headed out. The manager after talking to the waitress wanted her to appoligize to us.... but the issue is completely with the manager. Will not go back.

Went here for axe throwing. Coach was nice and provided good service. Food was good and axe throwing was fun.

Apparently, not enough employees. Walked in and it took about five minutes to even be acknowledged. Then sat and watched about four other families leave because they didn't get acknowledged either. If I ever get my food, I'll let you know how it is.

The food was great but our waitress was rude and didn't appreciate our $8 tip. She didn't do anything besides bring our food and ask if everything was okay. She completely ignored me after I gave her the tip when I was trying to get a to go box and decided to not get it and just leave. The place was nice and clean and the gift shop was great and the cashier was awesome there. They just need better waitresses.

My family and I waited for over 40 minutes I ordered a BLT salad and this was what I got $9 for a chunk of lettuce and some bacon crumbles with some tomato . Kids mac and cheese was also cold. A steak we had was ordered rare and came out well. My family and I will never return to this place.

Food was outstanding. Service was good. Prices were reasonable.

We seated immediately my grandpa doesn’t hear well and the kid was extremely quiet when he said u can come this way. We didn’t hear him and he said it again in a snotty way. Once we were seat the waitress was so nice and caring about how our experience was. The way for food was ab 45min. The girl that brought our food out was absolutely snotty said repeatedly the name of one of our burgers once again my grandpa and his friend can’t hear well and just snotty every single time she said and continued to get worse with each time she talked just sounded like she was so done with the day and like she was talking to dogs. The food was great!

Service was good. Food was decent. Sweet potato fries and corn dog bites are both very good. Boneless wings didn't really have sauce on but rather just thrown on top of the sauce. Chicken breast was a little over cooked. Everything tasted good though.

The western theme of the restaurant was neat. Pretty small restaurant overall but has a nice layout. Service was friendly but a tad on the slow side starting dinner. Had fried pickle chips for an appetizer; which were really good, but the portion was small for the price. Had smothered grilled chicken for the main course and it was pretty good. Had a triple chocolate cookie for desert and it wasn’t the best. Tasted packaged and it was just heated in the microwave. Overall a good experience though.

The servers were super friendly, and attentive. Caught that our order was prepared wrong as they were brining it out, and more than made up for it. Wings with spicy garlic were quite yummy. The general store has some really neat things with reasonable prices. The Axe throwing was a hit for my guy. $15 for a half an hour, and the young man that monitored it was super friendly. Great stop!

We got carry-out. The wait time was long, but accurate. They were busy so it wasn't a problem. There were a few minor errors in our order that we realized after we got home but the food we had was excellent. (Bison meatloaf and wings and waffles)

If you’re enjoying the nearby brewery, don’t bother walking down the convenient path to the buffalo. This afternoon they had a live band and turned away over a dozen patrons on the patio, citing that they had only one server for the entire restaurant...on a Saturday evening. I was looking forward to the bison burger. SMH...

Great food, great drinks, great service. I recommend this spot.(THE WINGS ARE 9/10) GET EM!!!

Our waitress was amazing! Our apps were AMAZING! But then THE WINGS WERE THE BEST!!!! We’re wing people and I’ve never had better juicy (not slimy) wings! Highly recommend if your in the area on vacation like us! & definitely worth the wait!

Was extremely excited to see Wings and Waffles as a menu item, and it didn't disappoint. I ordered their hottest sauce, Dead Buffalo, and the heat was intense but delicious. I advise asking for ranch on the side to cool off your mouth, but flavor and chicken are still great. The waffle wedges are sprinkled with powdered sugar and crispy. Dipping them in the syrup makes for an amazing taste which also helps cool off your mouth. Pretzel bites as an appetizer are also delicious!

I was not very impressed with quality of food. Steak was still rare when I ordered medium well and ordered pretzels which were good but not worth the price for only 3 pretzels. We ordered a burger and did not get any lettuce tomato or pickles that was supposed to be on it. Service was good but do not reccomend for food

Only tried the fried pickles and beer while throwing an axe next door. Reasonable prices for throwing and for beer/pickles. Friendly waitress and axe throwing trainer! Covid-adjusted: staff with masks, hand sanitizer available, etc.

Great food and service! Fun little gift shop and ax throwing! Awesome way to end our hiking day!

We were told 20-30 minutes for a table. Got a text 50 minutes later.. we left after 45 minutes. We understand about covid and have traveled quite a bit this week and eaten out a few times. Have had a great experience everywhere and have waited due to restrictions. We get it. The staff seemed overwhelmed and stressed.

I loved the dead buffalo hot sauce it was hot enough to compliment the Louisiana shrimp basket perfectly. Only complaint service was slow at dinner time and the waitress seemed to new to, to be on her own.

Absolutely disgusting fish sandwich, the cardboard chicken and plastic alfredo was awful too! This place is in desperate need of Resteraunt Impossible!! The staff had no enthusiasm or energy, and the manager was too busy running around trying to look tuff to realize that this place sucks!!! Go ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! You've been warned! I didn't even eat my food and they never once offered to remove it from our bill. We will NEVER go back and will tell our friends to stay away!

We had a great visit. Food was very good, and reasonably priced. Staff friendly, restrooms clean which when you're camping nearby makes a huge difference. They had Ax throwing next door and at $15.00 for 30 minutes with a signed waver you could test your skill. Just remember no OPEN toed shoes allowed. There was a neat little gift shop too. Well worth the time to stop and grab a bite.
